  1. ONLINE JUDGING: SCORING TEAM SUBMISSIONS

Reviewing Community & Outreach, Optional

PreviousScoring Team Introduction VideosNextTips for Judges' Feedback

Last updated 6 months ago

We are asking any pre-competition judges who are available to do a quick and simple review of the Community & Outreach activity some RoboBoat teams have taken part of. This will help you learn more about the teams' outreach efforts, provide teams with more valuable feedback, and could lead to more special award candidates!

Teams are invited to outline their educational outreach efforts. This activity is not scored; however, it will be shared online for the community and can be eligible for special awards and recognition.

Submission Format: 500 word description

What are teams expected to do?

  1. Share about any educational outreach efforts

  2. Submit description (500 word limit) with any supporting documents, images, etc.

Review Criteria

To complete the Community & Outreach review, judges are given a rating scale and an opportunity to recommend a special award or recognition. Be prepared to provide justification in the case a special award is recommended. Reviews can be done anytime convenient for you, as long as your reviews are submitted by February 24th at 11:59 PM ET.

Judge Comments

JUDGE'S COMMENTS FOR THE TEAM

One of the main requests we receive from our teams every year is to receive comments and feedback from you, our judges.

You will see this section at the bottom of each scoresheet where you can leave your feedback and comments. These comments will be shared with teams following the competition.

Please see the Judge Comment Guidelines lesson below for tips on writing effective comments for the teams.

JUDGE'S COMMENTS FOR ROBONATION

The comments you leave here are only visible to the RoboNation team and will not be shared with the teams.

Use this comment section to recommend the team for a special award, emphasize something that really stood out to you, or share any concerns you have.
