6.1 Registration

All teams are required to register to compete using the Registration form found on the RoboBoat website: RoboBoat.org/2026. This registration collects each team’s point of contact information, demographics, and the Pre-Competition Requirements outlined in Section 6.2: Event Submissions and Section 6.3: Design Documentation Submissions.

6.1.1 Registration Fees

To complete the RoboBoat 2026 registration, teams must pay the registration fee of $1,250 USD.

6.1.3 First-Year Teams

First-year teams are eligible to participate in RoboBoat without an ASV. These teams are expected to participate in Design Documentation and send representation on-site at the event as a learning experience. First-year teams are expected to indicate this option in their registration form.
